Former NFL player Antonio Brown is heading to Miami to confront an attempted murder accusation related to a gunfire that occurred in May, with his counsel filing a not guilty response on his behalf.

Detention documents in Essex, New Jersey, reveal that Brown was freed on Tuesday early for his move to Florida. Brown, a highly popular players in the National Football League, had forgone transfer to Florida from New Jersey, in which he was held after being taken into custody in the city of Dubai.

Brown’s attorney, Mark Eiglarsh, said in an email that he has already filed a documented not guilty declaration to the attempted murder allegation. Brown could be in a Miami courtroom as soon as Wednesday morning for a bond session, Eiglarsh stated.
